In this class we discuss how to turn a nickel-dime business into a money machine by generating revenue from residents, owners, and vendors without driving them away.  We'll address the all-important issue of proper disclosures, complying with Code of Ethics, contractual issues, policy issues, and the challenge of implementing new fees and charges.  We'll address the ethical issues of whom you disclose to, what you disclose, and when to disclose fees and charges.  This class is all about making property management profitable.

Robert M. Locke
Robert graduated from Michigan State University in 1969 with a degree in Business and Marketing. Robert got his real estate license in 1973 and has practiced real estate sales, investing and property management ever since.  He and his wife Betty have bought over 150 houses for their own account and have located over 500 houses for their investor clients.
Robert started managing rentals for others in 1980 out of his basement as Crown Management Corporation and over 10,000 tenants have rented from Crown since then. Crown currently manages over 1000 single family rental homes in the Atlanta area. Crown’s clients include private investors, Real Estate Investment Trusts, banks, government agencies, builders, lenders and many other brokers. More >>

Monica Gilroy

Monica K. Gilroy, a founding principal of Gilroy Bailey Trumble, is the firm managing partner and has over 20 years of experience practicing law. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin and a J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law. In addition, Ms. Gilroy attended the Ealing College of Higher Education in a study abroad program. Ms. Gilroy leads the Litigation Department as the focus of her national litigation practice includes all aspects of real estate litigation, including foreclosure and title disputes, broker and agent liability defense, mortgage fraud-related litigation and civil and commercial contract disputes. She also leads the Default Department providing national foreclosure, bankruptcy, loss mitigation and eviction services. More »
