This class introduces commercial property types in detail with emphasis on advantages and disadvantages of each property type and what investors and owners are seeking. You will learn key terms for each building type. Rents will be calculated along with operating expense pass-throughs. You will understand what lenders require and learn to create a marketing plan for each building type.

Ann Cyphers

Ann Cyphers is president of Cyphers Brokerage Associates, Inc., an Atlanta-based commercial real estate firm. During her 30-year career, she has successfully negotiated and closed hundreds of leases and sales transactions. Ann has been a licensed instructor for 25 years teaching prelicense, broker, post license and continuing education courses.

Ms. Cyphers accomplished NAIOP's (National Association of Industrial and Office Property Owners) Million Dollar Club membership and Atlanta Commercial Board of REALTORS® Million Dollar Club. Ann has served on the Board of CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women) as Vice President of Community Affairs and received CREW's Development Deal of the Year Award 2004 and CREW's Shining Light Award. Ann received Ackerman & Company's Landlord Representation Award and has been featured in the Atlanta Business Chronicle's "Who's Who" List. Additionally, she has served on Dorey's advisory board and the board of Progressive Redevelopment, an Atlanta based affordable housing developer. GREEA (Georgia Real Estate Educators Association) recently awarded her The Outstanding Career Award.
